MAcA – your Environmental Museum in Turin

Born and developed along Dora Riparia river, hosted in the ancient headquarter of the firm fire prevention division of Michelin’s plant. Visitors can still appreciate some decor dating back to that period.

Visiting the garden, visitors can admire the 30 meters high cooling tower, built during the Fifties.

At its sides, two other buildings have recently been created: the Green Pavillion (2014) and the Shell.

We believe in curiosity and in active learning and we do it through exhibits, labs, a rich website, projections, cultural and scientific activities. We conceive special programs for teacher training aiming at making people aware of the environment they live in and the ways to preserve it.
